In 1901, Luigi Bezzera invented the first modern espresso machine. Bezzera is the only company that has over a century of experience in manufacturing espresso machines with proven track records of quality production.
It is an high quality product built with Professional technology components, combined with a classic design like lever group E61 style, that allow to serve delicious coffee and cappuccinos in few seconds.
Body in stainless steel AISI 304 polish, group heated by the classic thermosiphonic system, copper boiler with internal heating exchanger that allow to produce coffee and steam at the same time.
The standard machine is equipped with water tank 4lt and vibration pump.
Bezzera MITICA S MN
It works with vibration pump and manual lever group, pulling the lever up the pump is activated and the coffee brewing starts, when the desired quantity of coffee in the cup is reached, pulling down the lever the coffee brewing is stopped.
The group is heated through the heating exchanger water by the traditional thermosiphonic heating system.

The S MN model is better suited for homes without a direct water line hookup. The S MN model uses water from the machines water tank.
For homes or offices with a direct water line hookup, the R MN model is equipped with a rotary pump and direct water line connection.

- Boiler pressure gauge (measures 0-3) to show steam boiler pressure.
- Pump pressure gauge (measures 0-16) to show brew pressure during extraction.
- Brew that is controlled by a lever located next to the grouphead.
- Water reservoir tank that is switchable to direct plumbing. In order to make the switch, there is a loose wire found in reservoir area inside that must be connected. The included plug needs to be inserted into the reservoir connection underneath the reservoir. The plug needs to be removed from the water line connection under the machine, and the included stainless steel braided hose needs to be attached. We suggest purchasing the fitting we recommend to attach on the other end of the hose for the water line.

- Auto-fill relay (brain unit), made by Gicar, is strategically located at the bottom of the machine which helps to prevent heat damage. The brain unit is protected from water damage by a cover.
The E61 groupheads had been used for decades for commercial usage.
Users can do preinfusion techniques if they find necessary.
The thermosyphon system will cycle hot water to the grouphead just like any E61 system.

2 Litres Boiler
The E61’s grouphead is warmed by hot water circulated from the boiler. For the E61 grouphead installed with heat exchanger system, if the boiler is lower than 2 litres. It’s found to be very unstable in the temperature during extraction. As there’s too much displacement of hot water out with fresh cold water pumped in. It will create a drastic drop in temperature in the boiler which then lead to a lowered temperature in the grouphead from the themosyphon system. A boiler that is too small, will have its temperature dropping too drastically during extraction and ultimately affects the taste of the coffee.
A 2 litres boiler for an E61 grouphead is the minimum size required for better stability with a huge amount of steam for frothing milk.
The E61 uses a thermosyphon system to stabilise the temperature of the grouphead.
A safe material with natural anti-microbial properties to continuously kill 99.9% of bacteria that cause hospital-acquired infections, keeping water in the boiler always potable. One of the most conductive metal on earth, making the machine very efficient in starting up and recovering from lost heat. Will never rust like stainless steel, or release lead from brass, will only oxidise and increase its antimicrobial properties as its age.

COMMERCIAL ROTARY PUMP WITH QUIET PERFORMANCE
This unit is equipped with a rotary vane pump which is located beneath the water reservoir. Any adjustments can be made beneath the machine. Rotary pumps are known for their quiet operation.
E61 GROUPHEAD WITH THERMOSYPHON HEAT EXCHANGER
The E61 brew-group has become an industry standard for any serious coffee connoisseur. The E61 grouphead with thermosyphon heat exchanger allows for consistent temperature delivery to the portafilter ensuring a nice, hot extraction. The heat exchanger works with the generous 2 liter copper boiler to provide the user with the ability to concurrently steam and brew. The brew is lever-controlled by the operator.
POWERFUL STEAMING ABILITY
This machine contains both steam and hot water wands that are controlled using joystick-style levers. These joystick levers allow the user to instantly deliver a powerful surge of steam and are positioned on ball-joints to allow the user to pivot the wands in many different directions to accommodate multiple sizes of frothing pitchers. The wands are non-insulated, which helps the milk to froth at a faster pace than the cool-touch wands. The large copper boiler provides the generous steam power needed to produce fast, velvety steamed milk.
SWITCHABLE WATER TANK TO DIRECT PLUMBING
A coveted feature on this model is the ability to either run water from the reservoir or switch to a direct-connect water line to remove the need for refilling the tank. Even without the direct water connection, the water reservoir is massive with a capacity of 4 liter, more than sufficient for most home users to prevent the need for constant refills.
